How to Get Relief for Lower Back Pain Using the BAKRELEF

Back pain can come about for many reasons, but one of the most effective ways to get relief is by lying down to take pressure off the discs. This is what’s referred to as decompression. Over the years, a variety of methods for decompressing discs have been developed from stretching to surgery.

When you stretch with the BAKRELEF, you increase decompression, which can allow the vertebrae to fall back into alignment, increase healing blood flow, and take the pressure off the nerves in the surrounding tissues that are causing the pain. This blood flow and pain relief allows the discs, muscles, and tissues to gradually heal.

Most people have back pain because the soft cushion (disc) between the vertebrae becomes thin as we age. Your body is putting pressure on these discs whether sitting or standing. By using a decompression device, you drastically decrease this pressure on the disc and the spine, allowing cushioning fluid to return to the disc. When the BAKRELEF is used correctly on a regular basis, the discs will increase in height so they can again function properly.

A bulging or herniated disc is another common cause of lower back pain. This is when the wall of the disc (annulus fibrous) weakens, allowing the jelly-like center (nucleus) to push out - or in extreme cases, break through. This condition usually occurs at the back of the disc and pushes against the spinal cord and major nerves, which can cause excruciating pain. The decompression created by the BAKRELEF back stretching machine will pull the nucleus back to its proper position to relieve the related pain.

How to Use the BAKRELEF Back Stretching Machine

The BAKRELEF is highly praised for its ease of use. With our traction device, getting adequate decompression is as easy as lying down. Here’s how it works:

  1. Sit the BAKRELEF on the ground where you have enough room to stretch all the way out.
  2. Lie down with your back against the floor and your hips in between the two towers of the BAKRELEF. The side with the handles should be toward your feet.
  3. Pull the towers into your hips till they are snug.
  4. Pull up on the handles on each side of the Towers. This will activate the Squeeze Panel pushing them towards your hips to create a squeezing effect. Once activated, the tips of Squeeze Panels should contact the soft tissue between the femur (hip bone) and pelvis on each side.
  5. Once in the correct position with the Squeeze Panel activated, press down on the handles to stretch the back and decompress the spine. Hold for several seconds. Then relax for a few seconds.
  6. Repeat stretching and relaxing.

Within minutes, you’ll begin to feel relief that continues to improve throughout the day. Use the BAKRELEF back pain relief machine as often as needed to alleviate pain or to stretch before activity, and avoid pain all together!
